According to the PR head, gas supply to Nardaran was stopped during the summer months, quite a long time before the recent event in Nardaran. The reason for this was the illegal use of the natural gas of the inhabitants of the settlement:" We have uncovered many facts regarding the issue. There are certain things carried out in Nardaran by us. Gradually, the gas pipes have been cleaned in every neighborhood and the cases of illegal use of gas, especially the illegal merging of pipelines to the main gas pipe have been discovered and prevented. This process still continues. As a result of our efforts, there are up to 550 gas meters in the settlements. Each flat has been individually inspected. New contracts have been signed with the flat owners. We still continue to do so. From tomorrow, the delivery of the natural gas will begin in the flats that were provided with gas meters, and individually inspected and signed an individual contract. We will continue to implement these things in the rest of the village as well. We have 1957 subscriber in the settlement in general. We plan to conclude our work in the settlement soon and we're working on it. After our work is done, all subscribers will be supplied with the natural gas according to their demand. I have to remind you that, there are people who have individuals debts in the settlement. The debt of those people who had outstanding debts will be calculated and added to the subscriber's database and appropriate acts will be prepared. I have no doubt that payment of these debt will be taken care of. I mean, those who owe money will pay their debts. Only after this, they will be supplied with the natural gas."
