Veteran Azerbaijani football player Mashallah Ahmadov has been detained on fraud charges, Baku’s Binagadi district police office told APA.
The police initiated investigation after receiving a complaint about Ahmadov, said the police.
Mashallah Ahmadov is the vice-president of the Regional Association of Azerbaijani Football Federations.
