Armenia violates ceasefire 91 times

Armenian armed forces have violated the ceasefire regime 91 times using 60- and 82-mm mortars and large-caliber machine guns in different directions along the contact line throughout the day, the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry said on Wednesday.

Azerbaijani positions situated in the Kemerli, Farahli, and Qizilhajili villages of Gazakh took fire from Armenian outposts in the Dovekh and Shavarshavan villages of Noyemberyan district, and in the Berkaber village of Ijevan. Also, Azerbaijani positions in the unnamed highlands of Tovuz and Gedebey were fired at from the enemy’s outposts in the Ayqepar village of Berd district and in the unnamed uplands of Krasnoselsk respectively.
 
Elsewhere along the contact line, Azerbaijani army positions came under fire from Armenian positions near the Talish and Gulustan villages of Goranboy, Chilaburt and Goyarkh villages of Terter, Chiraqli, Kengerli, Novruzlu, Shuraabad, Garagashli, Merzili, Nemirli, Javahirli, and Sarijali, and Shikhlar villages of Aghdam, Kuropatkino village of Khojavand, Gorgan, Garakhanbeyli, Horadiz, and Ashagi Seyidahmadli villages of Fuzuli, Mehdili village of Jabrayil as well as in the nameless uplands of Goranboy, Khojavand, Fuzuli and Jabrayil.
 
In consideration of the operational conditions, the Azerbaijani army fired 95 shots at the enemy’s positions.
